Washington Couple Accused of Abusing and Starving Children – ABC News. This couple had 4 biological children that were well-nourished. They starved their 5 adopted children, threatening them with severe beatings if they tried to get to the food kept under lock and key. They ate weeds and pet food to keep from starving. They were severely malnourished, underweight and emotionally damaged. They need to put this couple away and lose the key! What I want to know is, how in the world did they get approved to adopt 5 children! Someone needs to answer to that also!

Those poor children. There should be thorough background checks and monitoring done on foster and adoptive parents.
