Secret Service Buys Two New $1.1 Million Buses for a Three-Day Presidential Campaign Trip while Obama flies ahead of the buses for his campaign stops.


Obama FLIES into an airport somewhere in the Midwest, hops into one of two brand new $1.1 Million buses, paid for by you and me, for a ”bus” tour around the Midwest’ and, after an hour or so, gets driven back to the airport for ANOTHER FLIGHT, lands at another airport,where another $1.1 Million brand new black Canadian bus is waiting for Obama and then, repeats all that until Obama’s Midwest "bus" tour is done!![These buses are Canadian-built, by the way, because Obama is SO CONCERNED about American manufacturing, creating American jobs and supporting American productivity.

And don’t forget… those brand new shiny black Canadian buses AREN’T DRIVEN to the location where…

    No, this is not a story about audacity. This ‘story’ is an example of audacity. The buses were ordered and purchased through a Tennessee company called Hemphill Brothers Coach. The basic chassis is built in Canada, but all the customizing and outfitting of the vehicle, done to Secret Service requirements, is done in America by Hemphill.

    In answer to your statement, “AND!.. Believe it or not…this process is REPEATED FOR EVERY CAMPAIGN STOP.” I don’t believe it! I’ve searched the web and there is not even a hint of what you describe about flying from stop to stop, unloading the bus, transferring the entourage from plane to bus back to plane, taking off and landing at another airport to repeat it all over again from any reliable source. It just doesn’t pass the smell test.

    Do you realize that Air Force One (both of them) are highly modified 747s and are HEAVY! There aren’t that many municipal airports in the mid-west that can handle a normal 747, much less one of these big babies. Matter of fact, this tour you’re referring to occurred in mid-August of last year (2011), started in Minnesota and ended in Illinois, and was accompanied by reporters following in another bus all the way.
