In Defense of Gabby Douglas’ Hair | Team Mom – Yahoo! Shine. It seems that instead of applauding Gabby Douglas for her place on the US women’s team, many people are slamming her hair! Seriously? She is amazing to watch! Who noticed her hair? Most of the athletes wear their hair in a severe, pulled-back style, and so does Gabby. What’s wrong with that? The last thing an athlete of this caliber needs to be thinking about is their hair. Some people have too much time on their hands.

    I saw this on Yahoo! yesterday and thought it was soooo absurd. What an extraordinary, gifted athlete! Her hair is a total non-issue.
