A crazy night!

The other night, we had a most interesting dance with our bedspread. The early part of the night, I only like using the sheet, so I usually throw my half of the bedspread on the middle of the bed between us. Hubby, usually gets hot and sprawls out from under both. Once during the night, I tried to tug my half of the bedspread back over me. Hubby was lying on top of it and I woke him tugging and pulling. I finally got a good hold and tugged and then pulled until I covered myself once again and we went back to sleep. Later in the night, after a trip to the bathroom, when I got back in bed and settled down, I realized the bedspread felt strange. I rubbed my hand on it and realized it was on backwards! In our throwing back and forth, and in tugging and then throwing back on top of us, we had totally turned over the bedspread. The design on the top of the bedspread was now on the inside instead! How in the world had we reversed the entire bedspread? It was hilarious! Sure enough…when we got up the next day…the bedspread was on backwards. An amazing feat. Really crazy!

I’ve often thought it would provide great comedy to video-record our night-time sleeping antics !! It would probably be hilarious!
Thanks for your post ~~ just as an afterthought, maybe those sheets, blankets, comforters have a life all their own!!

I thought someone was banging on our front door this morning (a fire?! A thief?!). No…just my lovely wife snoring like there was no tomorrow (it was one of those wierd “short aburpt snores…that sounds like someone banging on a door…I swear!)

  3. I can relate cause the same happens to my hubby and me. He is 6’4″, 235 lbs and I’m 5’2″, 112 lbs. When he rolls over at night his entire body leaves the bed and he flops over like a pancake taking the covers with him. He wins every time! It is still amusing in the morning to see the covers turned upside down, but only in the morning – it’s really aggravating during the night!
