Asthma inhalers to be phased out to protect ozone layer – TODAY Health – TODAY.com#. Obama is trying to protect the Ozone layer. So, now it is the fault of all of the asthma patients using their inhalers! The FDA said that all patients using inhalers to treat mild asthma have until Dec. 31 to switch to something else that does not contain chlorofluorocarbons…the aerosol substance once found in many spray products. The switch to greener inhalers will cost consumers more money. Epinephrine inhalers cost about $20 while the green ones, containing albuterol cost $30-$60. Wow…now the government is removing drugs from the population. I am sure there are a few of these people who use this drug because nothing else works for them and not just for the cheaper cost. Interesting!

I use an inhaler almost daily because I cant afford my other meds.what next take away my nebulizer, it produces more fogg than the inhaler. lets focus on things like affordable insurance that does not have a donut hole. Making sure that children, can eat daily. and, when I become 65 yrs old, I can recieve my social security, (this is a wish I already have the answer to ).
