Pray for our nation

Prayer Hands

Pray for our nation. As a Christian, I am accustomed to praying daily for family, friends, co-workers or circumstances. Sometimes I pray for strength and for guidance and sometimes I pray for forgiveness and for an increase in faith. This web page reminded me that I forget to pray for our country. Sometimes we get so caught up in our daily lives we forget that we have the privilege and responsibility to pray for our country and our fellow-man. We can pray for our leaders and our military. At the very least, you can listen to a beautiful rendition of “The Lord’s Prayer” sung by Andrea Bocelli. Read the words as you listen and it may remind you as it did me, that I need to pray more for our country of America. If what I see today is not the America I can remember as a child, then it can never hurt to pray for things to improve. If you are a praying person, join me.

Yes, we really should pray more for the country. I feel like there’s nothing I can do, but I can by praying. That’s a neat statue.
