Would you want to re-do High School?

Are you kidding me? Absolutely NOT! I liked high school because it was easy for me for the most part. I could study very little and make A’s and B’s, except for geometry which I almost failed. I loved Spanish and studied more for that class than any other and made straight A’s. I loved singing in the choir and began private lessons right before I graduated. Other than that…I was a chubby kid, wore glasses and was one of the ones that got made fun of . I learned early to try to blend into the woodwork and be inconspicuous. I was never friends with the “popular” kids and felt ugly, inadequate, and wouldn’t wish that life on anyone! I remember in orchestra someone who sat behind me thought it was cool to bounce their bow on my rear end and watch it jiggle. They thought it was hilarious. Who would want to do that again! High School does not bring back happy memories.

About estherlou

My husband and I married in 1970. I am the mother of 2 and grandmother to 5. I am a retired wedding cake decorator. I like watching Netflix on the Wii. I am catching up on all of the old tv shows I missed when they were on prime time! Right now though, I am reading and writing blogs, watching tv, making jewelry and rosaries, selling in my Etsy store and playing solitaire. I am home bound and add in my physical therapy exercises to my daily routine. I will blog about my progress or anything that catches my attention at that moment. See you around and thanks for stopping by!

I’m sorry to hear that you had such a terrible time in high school. People can really be cruel. My guess is those people who peaked in life during high school are the only ones who really want to relive that period of their life. I can’t say that I’d really want to relive high school either. I don’t keep in touch with anyone from high school. When I finished high school, I made sure I spent the period right after that as far away as possible. 🙂
