Murder Charge Considered for Girl Who Drowned Crying Toddler – ABC News. This is the most bizarre thing I’ve ever heard. A 5-year-old girl dragged an 18 month old into a tub saying she knew how to get him to quit crying. Supposedly she held him under the water until he stopped crying. They were being watched by a 16-year-old with mental disabilities who had fallen asleep. Can a 5-year-old think ahead like this? This is really crazy. She said she got angry the baby wouldn’t quit crying and held him under the water left from their baths until he quit crying. It is still under investigation. Really, really upsetting. Not sure how to think about this.
