When I get home, I kick my shoes off

The Earth Delights to Feel Your Bare Feet

Home is what I look forward to. Home is my place of refuge, place to unwind, and place to be myself. First thing I do, is take off my shoes and socks. I’m a barefoot girl, always have been. Not sure why, just like going barefoot. Even in the winter when I get cold, and have to cover up with an afghan, I still like to go barefoot. Perhaps shoes to me are too confining. I can’t say I ever thought about it much. Hubby is the same way. Walk in the door, head to the bedroom, take off shoes and socks. Ahh….wiggle the toes, and relax. There is nothing like it.
