My Favorite Cliché

What is going on ?

Everyone knows what a cliché is, right? And can give an example of one? Well, I went to to look at some clichés. I was totally astounded. There are hundreds of them, and most of them I’ve heard of or used off and on my whole life. I realized I almost can’t carry on a conversation without using one! Go figure. It’s easy as pie. To see eye to eye, we have to be on the same page. There is no time like the present and more than one way to skin a cat! There is a sucker born every minute and there but by the grace of God go I! We’ve always been two ships passing in the night, but 3rd times the charm. I’ve walked on eggshells waiting for the other shoe to drop for years. Welcome to the club. What you see is what you get. What am I, chopped liver? What’s up with that!? Knock on wood. When all is said and done, you can take that to the bank. You snooze, you lose. Beggars can’t be choosers, but damned if you do and damned it you don’t. Don’t rock the boat, and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do. Been there, done that. The Lord willing and the creek don’t rise, there is no accounting for taste. I can’t make heads or tails out of it, but there is nothing to write home about. To make a long story short, it’s now or never. Get a life.
